How the FUCK does "insert image" not have an option to upload from device?! URL? I'd post a SCREENSHOT BIT- OH WAIT. I CANT. HOW DO YALL FUNCTION WITHOUT SCREENSHOTS.

Hello! Welcome to Dreamwidth! I found this through the "Latest things" page, I hope you don't mind me butting in a bit.

It is a bit weird to get used to if you're coming from a place like Tumblr, but Dreamwdith doesn't quite have the space to allow users to upload a bunch of images, since hosting can get a bit strenuous on them. There is native image hosting, but only about 500 MB for free users. Which is more than enough for some! it just depends on how you use it. You can read how to use that here!

Otherwise you can use a different website to host an images to show here, hence the general URL option. Postimages.org is usually pretty reliable for that, although there's a bunch of other sites you can use.
